ABOUT TPWC
Tomatoes have unique
health attributes and, when consumed within the context
of a healthy diet, they can help in dealing with major
health concerns such as cardiovascular disease, cancer,
diabetes, and obesity.
That's the reason why the Tomato Products Wellness Council
was created in September 2006. The Council, made up of
growers, processors and brand representatives, formed to
take a unified approach to build demand responsibly and
increase consumption.
We are funding scientific research into the benefits of
consuming a diet rich with tomato products. Our current
research is focusing on cardiovascular health.
